Jask Oil and Gas Export Terminal will be activated before March 20, 2020 and Iran’s oil will be exported through Makran, Iranian Oil Minister, Bijan Namdar Zangeneh announced.
At the opening ceremony of 13, 22 and 24 phases of South Pars Gas-Condensate field, Zangeneh said, “Iran’s production capacity in South Pars has reached 660 million square meters per day. Increase of gas production, decrease of liquid fuel in power plants and set a new record in export are some of the results of opening the phases of South Pars”.
Iran has produced 101 million liters gasoline this year with two-fold increase, the minister added, saying, Iran has produced 76 million liters gasoline per day based on euro standards this year, while previously it didn’t have the production of the type of fuel.
According to Zanganeh, Iran’s production of diesel fuel has also increased by 12%.
The minister also stated, “The construction of Jask Oil and Gas Export Terminal will be completed by March 20, 2020 and Iran’s oil will be exported through Makran for the first time”.
