Trump failed in Stopping Iran Oil Exports: MP
A member of the Iranian parliament said: “The US failed in bringing Iran’s oil exports to zero.”
Sekineh Almasi, who is also a member of the energy committee of the parliament, said the US government had planned to bring Iran’s oil exports to zero for over 6 months ahead of November 4, which fortunately failed.
“In the previous round of sanctions, despite US pressure, there was a global consensus against Iran and at the same time all kinds of sanctions, including food and medicine, were imposed on the country, but it was able to export its oil as much as it needed,” she said.
The MP further added that Iran had developed new methods to sell its oil in the global market under sanctions.
