Iran Denies Russia Involvement in Oil Sells
Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh refuted suggestions about Russia’s involvement in Iran’s oil exports.
Speaking to reporters following a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, the official said: “I deny these allegations that have been published by Reuters and some other media outlets.”
Asked about upcoming US sanctions on Iran’s oil exports, the official said: “I will not speak a word the issue of sanctions and oil sales.”
Mr. Zangeneh also said that petrochemical companies were supplies hard currency to the market, saying: “They are cooperating and there is no problem in that regard.”
