Asaluyeh Terminal sets new Record in Condensate Loading
Asaluyeh Export Terminal set a new record by loading 16.43 milloin barrels of gas condensate during the month of Dey (10th month in the Iranian calendar, December 22—January 20).
Managing Director of the Iranian Oil Terminals Company (IOTC) Pirouz Mousavi said 27 vessels called at South Pars SBM to load 16 million and 430 thousand barrels of gas condensate during the month, the largest amount of cargoes in the past 15 years.
On average, 18 tankers berth at the SBM each month to load 13.5 million barrels of condensate cargos.
Of this amount, 14.4 million barrels of gas condensate were exported, the official said.
Moreover, during the same period, 3,300,000 barrels of the item were sent to the Persian Gulf Star Condensate Refinery (Bandar Abbas Condensate Refinery) and 5,200,000 barrels headed to Noori Petrochemical Company (Borzouyeh), Mousavi said.
