Iran to sign contracts with int'l firm to develop 2 oilfields
Managing Director of National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) Bijan Alipour said the contract for development of Karanj oilfield will be signed with international consortiums and companies within next one month.
The Iranian petroleum ministry's website quoted Alipour as saying that a contract will also be signed with the international companies and consortiums by the end of the year for development of Shadegan oilfield.
He said his company will soon decide on the kind of activities in Karanj and Shadegan fields.
Alipour noted that talks have been held with Pergas international consortium for development of Karanj field.
