Iran exports 25 million tons of non-oil goods via Bushehr
Head of Bushehr Industry, Mine and Trade Department said in the first eight months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2017) 25.507 million tons of non-oil goods, including gas condensates, worth 9.735 billion dollars had been exported.
'A sum of 13.973 million tons of non-oil goods excluding gas condensates with a value of 5.210 million dollars were exported, which in comparison with the same period of the preceding year show 3 percent rise by price and one percent by weight,' Hossein Hosseini Mohammadi told reporters on Sunday.
He said that the aforementioned goods were exported to South Korea, China, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), India, Japan, Indonesia, Turkey, Kenya, Taiwan and Belgium.
Hosseini Mohammadi said that the main non-oil goods exported were petrochemicals, fertilizers, cement and clinker, different types of fishes and shrimp, sulfur, plaster and gypsum, cereal residua, watermelon and melon.
He added that in the same period 782,000 tons of goods worth 1.641 billion dollars have been imported to Iran through Bushehr Customs offices.
The importing goods included cars, tires, bicycle spare parts, banana, rice, car spare parts, butter, toys, tea and cereals.
Goods were imported from countries like China, UAE, the Philippines, South Korea, India, Ecuador, New Zealand, Japan, France and Kuwait.
