JCPOA great opportunity to expand ties with Iran: Norwegian diplomat
Political director of Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Wegger Christian Strommen said in a conference that JCPOA is a great opportunity to expand bilateral relation between Iran and Norway.
Speaking at the ‘Iran-Norway Bilateral Maritime Opportunities’ in Oslo on Thursday, Strommen added that removing international sanctions against Iran has opened the opportunity to expand relations on specific areas such as maritime, shipping, oil, gas, and solar energy.
Citing Iran as a great market in the region, he said that the Norwegian companies are prepared to cooperate in every sector and deliver their commitment in business with Iran.
The one-day conference in Oslo was held on Thursday and dozens of Iranian and Norwegian companies were present to discuss ways of expanding cooperation and investment in the field of maritime and shipping.
Mohammad Hassan Habibollah Zadeh, Iranian ambassador in Oslo was also present in the conference.
