Zangeneh: Iran remains committed to its pledges to OPEC
Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh said on Wednesday that the Islamic Republic of Iran will remain committed to its pledges with regards to the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
As for the volume of Iran’s oil production and exports quotas in the market, the minister said that Tehran will continue the same number announced by the secondary (unofficial) sources that are regarded as a benchmark for all countries.
Iran has been committed to the agreements made during the latest OPEC Meeting, Zangeneh said adding that most of the OPEC members have also remained committed to those agreements.
Latest reports have also indicated that OPEC too has been one hundred percent faithful to the agreements made during its latest meeting in November.
