Behrouz Qarabeigi told IRNA that the value of the exported goods was over $15.17 billion that grew by 17 percent compared to last year.
He also asserted that gas condensates and petrochemicals are among main exported goods and products from Bushehr Province.
Qarabeigi said: 18.8 million tons of the province’s total exports are gas condensates with a value of $7.4 billion that reflects the important role of the petrochemical products in exports.
The Customs official added that last year 15.11 tons of petrochemicals with a value of $7.043 billion were exported from Bushehr Province, up by 22 percent from the previous year.
Pointing out that the gas condensates were exported through customs of Pars Special Economic zone, Kangan and Kharg Island, he stressed that increasing non-oil exports is one of the Resistance Economy’s policies and the infrastructure required for the exports acceleration is available in Boushehr Province.
